Valuation
Services
At the heart of our business is the personal and confidential professional advice we provide to individuals, executors, lawyers, agents, trust companies and suchlike, supporting them in the management of collections and individual objects.
Probate Valuations
We offer a tailored Probate Valuation Service for individuals and professional clients alike.
- We can value the entire contents of a property or selected items as required, including fine art, jewellery, watches, antique furniture, contemporary art and design, specialist collectables, wine, silver, and general household items. All valuations are carried out by our experienced team of specialists.
- In accordance with legal guidance, objects valued at £1,500 or more are itemised individually, while items below this threshold are grouped as totals. We can also provide more detailed valuations where required, for example for family division or specific bequests.
- Once probate has been granted, our specialists can advise on an appropriate sales strategy, whether through our calendar of specialist auctions or via private treaty. We are also able to manage a complete house clearance service if needed.
Market Valuations
Market valuations are an essential tool in long-term decision-making, providing a clear fiscal overview of a collection or individual item. We offer confidential valuations across all areas of the art market and provide a complimentary initial meeting to discuss your requirements.
Our valuations are fully researched and illustrated and can be supplied as bound reports or secure digital documents.
